About Us

Cochrane Timber & Trusses began in 1992 and is operated as a family business. The original Cochrane family business was begun by Rex, in the 1970’s, in Methven. Our location now is 750 Halswell Junction Road – 1km from State Highway 1. This is close to new housing developments in the south and west areas of Christchurch. We became a licensed PRYDA Fabricator in May 1976 and have continued with the PRYDA engineered systems, since then.
